Deposit For a Charter
Some boats reservations require a 50% deposit others requiere a little more than $200.
Reservations must be secured by a deposit through credit card or PayPal .
Balance payment for the respective tour is collected on the tour date in cash; however, if you prefer to pay it online using your credit card; let us know the day before and we will send you an invoice for the remaining balance.
Cash is always the preferred method of payment. Credit card merchants in Costa Rica are expensive and all credit card transactions are taxed.
If you must pay for the entire fishing charter by credit card, we require this charge to your credit card to be made before the day of the charter. Usually, the boat captain does not have access to the credit card machine at the dock.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Fees will apply. If you cancel a tour 4 days before the tour date or your flight is cancelled and yuou can not come to Costa Rica, then your deposit will be refunded a 100% right away, no delays, no questions. No shows will lose their full deposit.
The previous rule will not apply to the Azimut Yacth (105ft); however, the client can reschedule or postpone the tour. There is not a refund policy for this boat.
If the fishing trip or tour is cancelled by the Captain due to bad weather, we will try to re-book your fishing trip for a better day if the customer's schedule allows, otherwise we will cheerfully refund your deposit.
When you reserve a fishing trip, we do not book anyone else for that day. No shows leave the captain and deckhand standing at the fully set up boat wondering where is their charter.
General Policy
Time: Be on the charter dock 15 minutes prior to departure time.
Rates: Rates are subject to change and do not include customary tip for the crew (15%-20%).
Safety: The safety and enjoyment of our passengers and crew is extremely important. It will be the sole decision of the vessel Captain in assessing equipment, water and weather conditions as to actual departure. If a cancellation must be made under the above circumstances, it will be the client's choice for a refund of deposit or rescheduling.
Medical Concerns: Please inform us of any medical problems or special requirements at the time of booking.
Alcohol: Beer is allowed but being obnoxious and drunk is not. Always drink responsibly.
