Andaz Peninsula Papagayo

The Hyatt Andaz Peninsula de Papagayo in Costa Rica is located in the Culebra Bay and its property is settled in a hill beach front with direct access to two white sanded beaches: Sobrero Blanco and Sombrero Negro.

The resort is at the Peninsula de Papagayo at just 25 minutes from the International Airport in Liberia (LIR) and very close to some of the most exiting Land Tour adventures such as: volcano, canopy, horse riding, rafting and more. Are you looking for a fishing charter out of Andaz Peninsula Papagayo? If so, we can help you and take you or your group coastal or deep sea fishing. We will bring our boat in front of the hotel and use a dingy for shore pick up.

Is common our charters start at 7.30am; however, you can decide to leave a little earlier or later. The ride to reach the offshore spots is a little more than an hour and 30-40 minutes for the inshore spots.

When offshore fishing, you will go after sailfish, dorado, yellowfin and marlin. If you prefer fishing inshore then the roosterfish is the most appreciate target, but also cubera snapper, small dorado, mackerel and othes smaller species.

When offshore fishing, we recommend booking the full day (8 hours) charter or at least 6 hours, since we can not go deep sea fishing in a half a day (4 hours). If you prefer to fish inshore then you can book a boat for 4, 6 or 8 hours.

All our fishing charters include a cooler stocked with water, beers, sodas, fresh fruits and lunch on full day. No fishing licenses included.
